About Found Poster
Found Poster is a small editorial archive selling restored Belle Époque and Art Nouveau posters as high-resolution digital downloads. Every image we sell came from a recognized institutional collection — primarily the Library of Congress and the Metropolitan Museum of Art — and is now in the public domain.
What we do
We start with the highest-resolution scan available from the source institution. We clean dust, balance the color, square the edges, and prepare the file in three standard print sizes — 8 × 10, 11 × 14, and 16 × 20 inches — at full 300 DPI. We supply a clean version (for direct framing) and a museum-card version (with a small archival label naming the artist, date, and source).
Who we’re for
Bars, restaurants, salons, ateliers, hotels, yoga studios — venues where the right wall art is part of the work, not an afterthought. The cocktail revival, the modern bistro, the contemporary salon — all of them carry the visual DNA of the 1890s Paris poster. Found Poster gives you the source.
Why digital downloads
You get instant delivery, print-shop-grade resolution, and the freedom to choose your own framing. No physical shipping, no customs, no waiting. Print one. Print a wall of twelve. Print again next year when the venue refurbishes.
